I’m a husband and father to 2 kids. I’ve been in IT for 20 years, and been a geek since 286’s had turbo buttons and 2400 baud was the best speed around. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of West Florida, and a CCIE Routing and Switching #18039 from Cisco, among many other mid level certifications. I have deep experience with all things networking from Routing and Switching, Collaboration (Voice, Omnichannel, IVR, Webex, Video, and API integrations), Security Products( ISE/802.1x, Firewalls, etc) , Wireless (Indoor, Outdoor, and long distance shots). A lot of Cisco work, but I work with many other vendors.
More recently I work in Software Defined Networking like Cisco SD-Access or VMware’s NSX, along with Network Progammability, Ansible, python scripting, and realtime concurrent applications like Elixir/Phoenix, and CI/CD toolchains to clouds
